“He Is Enough”
He is the great maker of it all.
He is enough to lift us from a fall.
No matter how far down we go.
When we think we hit the lowest low.
We must lead our wicked hearts with foresight.
Just let Him, God will guide us with His light.
As we work to rid our lives of our sick sin.
The Holy Spirit we must let within.
Father God you are enough to get me through my day.
You are the truth that lights the way.
Amen! This is an awesome poem....gives me hope to read poems like this. A few bumps here and there, but no matter, let it rest and come back to it another day to smooth it over and tighten it up.

Thank you, I recently have had a lot going on in my life and writing poems has helped me focus. I have never really wrote any in the last 20 or so years until just recently. I found your blog by just looking at others interested in poetry. I enjoyed reading it and veiwing your photos, very good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, writing poetry helps tremendously....of cos, so does praying to God....but I think you know that already! I only started writing poetry 4 years ago and I already scraped most of what I wrote the first year....sounded like hallmark cards. lol I learned from poetry workshops on line. I am still active on five of them. They helped with friendly critiques. If you are interested, I'll send you a few links.
